Where those settings to be changed for admins are located? I can frontward the info for admins - if you mean same people that run meetings.
I have this problem with all my teams meetings. There are at least three dissimilar hosts and then far.
Since this corona will be with the states for months to come I would appreciate all help with the issue.
For meetings what I host myself I use google hangouts without whatever problems.

No, I am referring to the IT personnel in charge of assigning Teams accounts (if you don't know who is your admin, please contact the IT department of your company or schoolhouse).

Why would anyone forestall people updating their profile pictures? And why the option is non hidden or grayed out in UI if information technology cant be used.
Where is instructions how to alter this? Is it a hush-hush to be revealed only for admins? :)
I'm pretty sure that this consequence is issues or bad design if it is non a bug.
Where is some kind of bugzilla where I can written report this to be fixed?
And why I'one thousand having the same outcome with three separate places. Visitor, hobby and government run teams? Probably they all run same version of teams server or whatever it is. Or it is merely client event / issues.

I was able to find these possible solutions:
"Scaling the image to 100x100 resolved my issue."
"My fix: alter via online Teams and not the desktop app - worked for me"
"The mode I got it to work was the following fashion. I logged in to my Microsoft Office 365 business relationship, which is connected to the same account every bit my Teams is. I changed my profile picture in that location and decided to wait for 24h and then it updated onto my Teams profile movie. No matter how big film information technology was, or what format.
TLDR. Log in to your Microsoft Role 365 business relationship that is connected to your Teams. Change the profile motion-picture show there and later 24 hours it should have updated in Teams."

I have attempt and fail:
Prototype size form 90x90px to 1600x1600px PNG and JPG.
Irresolute paradigm using web page / app version and desktop app.
Now I changed my prototype to Role 365 account that already had prototype. Image is now dissimilar, and so I wait 24h. Simply if it takes image from in that location information technology should already show upwards.
I'thou non having my hopes upwards. This boils downwardly to bad lawmaking, bad pattern of product or major bug on product.
And teams squad seems to non intendance about the issue that affects few one thousand thousand users. That is the sad office.
How many hours I must put in this to get it fixed or is this the low-cal bulb that does not need changing because darkness is standard? :)

I had the exact outcome and uploading the picture through the Spider web Interface as opposed to the client worked.
Definitely seems to be a client bug.

I have tried changing my profile picture show multiple times with multiple unlike pictures and sizes. I have tried in the spider web version every bit well every bit the app version. Others in my company (with same level of admission) have been able to do it, simply I continue to become the generic error message "There was a problem saving the photograph. Delight try again."
Very frustrating - especially coming from Microsoft. Equally a QA Analyst, this is merely unacceptable to have a bug like this go on for so long. Very poor quality.

I think Pedro's communication here is likely to produce good results. But, the other folk who have posted their frustration with this reply are also likely right--at that place is a bug--in fact many bugs in Teams that give instability to the application. For some weird reason (weird until it becomes known), commands and actions do not always sync in Teams. For example, I sometimes add together members to channels or create new groups that only some members of the channel or the group can come across on their squad environment--only calling the Information technology people has fix this for me.
